The Village Vocal Chords chorus has been an organized women's barbershop chorus since 1960, and chartered with the international organization of Harmony, Inc. in April of 1961. They have been crowned international chorus champions an unprecedented 20 times.
History
First gathering August 1960, organized by G. Ruth Geils. Joined Harmony, Inc. on April 11, 1961.
