On April 17, 2025, Morning Show Host Scott Miller invited the Sound of Illinois to sing on his program to help the station celebrate 100 years in business. Thirty-three SOI members performed Can You Feel The Love Tonight at 8:35. Soon after Miller joined the station, he became involved with the Sound of Illinois. He was emcee for the 2019 annual show and was committed for the 2020 show, which was cancelled (the night before) by COVID. He became our Trivia Night emcee when the fund-raiser was established in 2022 to help replace funds lost from the pandemic. The four events, organized by Director Terry Ludwig, were held at Union Hall on Nov. 4, 2022; March 10 and Nov. 3, 2023; and May 3, 2024. The Trivia Nights were a financial lifeboat for the chapter. | |||
