-: The main page was protected so that only Admins could edit. Essentially to keep from spam or random edits off the main page. -:: It still shows as Protected. I checked to make sure my account was in the correct group, and it shows "Autoconfirmed users, Users", so I tried logging out and back in again, and there was no change.
-:: I think I see what happened, it looks like the Talk page changed permissions, but not the main page itself, this is in the Recent Changes list:
