<p>The German Barbershop organization founded in 1991, is open to men and women singers and the only organization hosting mixed competitions. Today the majority of active barbershop groups in Germany are members of BinG!.
The association has contributed to an improvement in the exchange of experience and knowledge by means of numerous events and activities. This has been a major factor for barbershop music becoming more well-known among adherents of a capella music in Germany. </p>
