Simon Arnott

Simon Arnott is the musical director of Sweet Adelines International Region 31 chorus, London City Singers and men's chorus Meantime. He previously directed collegiate group The University of Bristol Barbershop Singers (TUBBS). Prior to moving to London he was bass section leader of BABS Chorus Champions Great Western Chorus, with whom he won gold medals in 2010 and 2015. He also won a BABS gold medal with BABS Quartet Champions Park Street (2014). In 2015, Simon and Park Street lead, Alistair Hay-Plumb formed a new quartet Trailblazers who won the BABS Youth Quartet contest.

Simon is an accomplished arranger. His arrangements have been sung in contest by Trailblazers, and in shows by Great Western Chorus (Bad Romance), LABBS Chorus, Cleeve Harmony (Price Tag). His arrangement of Shenandoah was donated to the BABS and LABBS Youth project.
