Dale Kynaston has been singing Barbershop since 1984 when he sang Baritone with a local quartet called Sovereign. He then went on to join the Telford chorus which he later directed on and off for almost 20 years.

Dale moved to the West Midlands club where he sang Tenor in a quartet called Model T 4.

Dale then sang Baritone in the quartet Back in Time, who were BABS finalists.

Winning his first gold medal in 1990 with Curtain Call, Dale had stuck to his natural part of Baritone.

Following Curtain Call, Dale sang with the quartet Rapport, who were an entertaining group who released 2 almbums.

After Rapport, Dale won his second Gold medal singing Lead, with the comedy quartet, Soundcrew, who were well known in the barbershop world.

In 2006, continuing to sing Lead, Dale won his 3rd Gold with Pitch Invasion. In 2012 Dale took the Baritone line with the 2010 champs, Steel and then sang from 2013-2017 with Reckless, who became the first BABS quartet to make the top 20 at the International competition in Vegas.

Dale is also a director of a local SATB choir, a part time singing teacher at a local music school and runs his own company. When not doing all that, Dale produces teach tracks for groups and does the odd arrangement too. Dale is a coach and previous BABS judge and also known for his emcee duties on shows and at contests.
